Same Beginning. Many Faces.
Eye Color
All humans come from Africa and share the same original genetic foundation. The first humans had dark skin, dark eyes, and tightly coiled hair. As small groups of people moved to different parts of the world, random genetic changes—called mutations—continued to happen. Some of these mutations affected skin color, hair texture, and eye color. Over time, certain traits became more common in specific regions, but they did not replace the original human design. White supremacy later misused these differences, claiming they meant some people were better or more “normal” than others. Science shows this is not true—human differences are variations, not hierarchies.
